The Linn family purchased an existing video production house in 1997. Linn Productions, the only full-service ad agency/production house in western South Dakota, produces commercials, promotional and educational videos, documentaries, animations, and print collateral. We place television, radio and print ads locally and nationally.
Besides our many local clients, we have done work for the History Channel, CNN, ABC Discovery News, Discovery, Canadian Discovery, the Travel Channel, PBS, QVC, Oprah, Fuse Films in London, Swiss TV, and other national and international companies. For nearly all of our national/international clients, we provide beta crews to do shooting, and they do their own editing. Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, the Indian reservations, the Sturgis Rally, and other attractions keep a steady flow of national shoots coming through the area. For our local clients, we write scripts, shoot, edit, create animation, design and program Web sites, design and produce print collateral, and do mass duplication of any media. Our dream is to produce movies, and our first feature film, Into His Arms, has been released nationally and internationally on video and DVD. So far, it has been translated into Spanish and Portuguese and has aired worldwide. TBN recently purchased airing rights. We have also produced a short comedy, Market 175, which was screened at the Los Angeles Short Film Festival. We are currently shooting Imprint, produced by Native American director Chris Eyre. We will submit Imprint to the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. |
