Mark Anders (Toby Brusseau), a small-town reporter, fights to save his failing news station and attract the attention of a beautiful anchorwoman (Joi Gracin). Mark’s life is further complicated by an overbearing news director (Bob Faubert), an unmotivated cameraman (Mark Cannon), and an arrogant rival reporter (Cory Brusseau). Everything that can go wrong does, and Mark begins to discover that in life, as in news, the real story is often beneath the surface.
